The inline-pump engines have a solenoid-operated kill lever on the governor/injection pump assembly. The lever pivots in an arc, up and down, operated via a push-pull rod and the solenoid.
The solenoid assembly was missing on mine, and I'm going to use a manual push-pull cable routed into the cab; I'm hooking it up right now, followed by completing the fuel supply and return lines and bleeding the fuel system, preparatory to (pleesepleezepleeze) firing the mess up...but:
Which way is the kill lever supposed to be positioned for "GO"? Up? Down?
