I went to a place we call Devils Playground in North Carolina and happened to meet this guy with a custom buggy with a newly aquired 4bt with the th400 behind it. hes running rockwells with 49"x21"R17 iroks that he has no problem roasting.

I got a question too....
I got to talking this guy, Brandon, and after asking what hes done with the engine(because it smokes like a train, very cool :smokin:) he told me that he "ground-down the fuel plate." And since im very new to this 4bt/diesel world i wouldnt mind somebody explaining what this means.

If you look at my avatar you will see various fuel plates, these are for the inline P pump and they increase fuelling at near or at WOT. there are a few more. You can buy one or cut/grind your own from a standard one. In my avatar the fuelling gets progressively more aggressive.

yeah, i took the video, and it is the factory H1C turbo thats straight piped to the rear with 3.5". he said he modified the fuel "plate" by drilling bigger holes or whatever and thats why hes getting more fuel then it can burn.
