i was looking at some freightliner trucks today. they had 6BT's running on straight propane. spark plugs in the injector holes. anyone on here had much to do with them ?

Cummins advertises natural gas engines on their website. I have not ever seen one over here. It would be a great engine to run a generator provided you have an unlimited supply of natural gas or propane available. You could even use the cooling system as an auxiliary hot water source for hot water heat.

I am one of those people with the unlimited amount of natty gas :happyfinger: I have been trying to find some info on the compressor units so that I could "plug in" at night, and have a full tank in the morning. So far its been a no go since I dont have "city gas" If I can get it all sorted out I would like to see about converting a 6 or a 4bt as a project. We all can dream cant we....
