Not that new, has been discussed a little bit before. QSB is the industrial / non-road counterpart to the ISB. DOES NOT use the same adapters / accessories / etc as the 4BT or even the ISB Dodge.

Here's a swap that used one: http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/dev/showthread.php?t=112807

No photos, but..

And a prior discussion about them here:

LOL I've had that thread bookmarked for 2 months now. The 3.3 QSB may oust the venerable 3.9 from the sounds of it. It makes nearly the same power for 200 lbs less. I am definitely going to try to get one of them for my exploder; the QSB version is a common rail type, if memory serves correctly, and fires up in cold weather better than the 3.9. The only bad thing I've heard thus far is they will self destruct past 3200 RPMs; never heard that from the 3.9 guys.

By looking more in to it, this 3.3L probably isn't worth the trouble. I think If I do the CTD swap, it will be with the 4bt.

Thanks for the help, all! :grinpimp:
