3700 miles in and ol orange is running strong. Got a battle scar on fender, adds character I say. I got sick of switching OD and lock-up with toggle switches so I decided to make a transmission controller with an Arduino, a j1939 shield, relay board and a little code. Workes like a charm. I can set what speed I want each to engage. After some test drives I plan to capture more engine data and perhaps write in some engine load calcs to determine when the ideal shifts are.
