My #3 injector line seeps fuel from under the nut down all over the injector when the engine is running. I loosened and then worked the nut a little tighter and it stopped for about a day, but is seeping very slowly again. I haven't taken it apart, but I suspect that the flare on the line is cracked and just want to know if that is usually what happens on everybody else's stuff. Also, if this is the case, does anybody have a #3 line (or a whole set!) for a 4BTA that they would be willing to sell?

Cracked lines are found from over tighten lines or not having the hold down clips on the lines.

Most new lines from Cummins is around $60-$80.00 the # can be found on the tin tag on the line or use the engine sir # tag.

But that does tend to be the main reason that they leak there, correct? I am just guessing that the flare is cracked, I haven't had time to take a look yet.
