I had a tensioner that applied pressure in a clockwise fashion. I needed a tensioner to put tension counterclockwise. Looking at it a moment, I wondered if you could change the spring around. You can. Use the pulley arm as a wrench to wind the spring back up in the reverse orientation.

Saved me some money, thought I would pass that along
