I've got a 54 Dodge M37 I'm converting to my daily driver/wheeler. The first thing I noticed is that after 15 minutes driving at anything greater than 20 MPH that the floorboard and firewall get HOT. As I am getting ready to start tearing it down for a frame-off I am trying to plan for sound control and thermal insulation of the cab. As I'd like to make the cab spray washable I'd like to avoid mat products. Lizardskin is an obvious choice. Any other ideas?

rebuilding a 77 f150 frame off rebuild. going to use some stuff called lizard skin. have seen it on power block on spike tv. they have a sound and heat liner that you spray on. heard good things about them and will one day be able to try them out when i put a 4bt under the hood.
