First post here. I have a '93 full size Bronco with the 351.
The body is perfect (no rust) and the interior is really nice.
I also have a '98 RAM 2500 with the 12-valve Cummins that I bought new in '98, and I like the simplicity and great fuel mileage of the RAM (20m/gal, city or highway).

So, I'm seriously looking at converting the Bronco over to diesel but don't want to start out spending $9grand on a Cummins R2.8 crate engine.
The 4BT is the direction I'm going at the moment, so I'm here to find out if it's a good direction or not.

I will disregard any suggestion of yanking the 5.9L out of my RAM and putting it into the Bronco cuz then I wouldn't have my beloved RAM anymore. :)

What transmission is currently in the '93 Bronco. Life gets much easier if it is a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive.
