I an prepping my 4-53N sitting in the scrap Cornbinder frame to get moved inside the shop, removing extraneous and sundry items.

This is what seems to be 2 vacuum lines teed into the blower inlet. ( ? ) What would be the purpose ?

my 4-53N industrial had one as well that looked like it had an oiler contraption on it. I was thinking possibly a inlet restriction gauge to make sure the intake is freely flowing, but honestly thats just an assumption. Dont know how much feedback you may get here, may also try some of the FB forums if you are there as well.
