Hi all, new guy here, I am putting a hydro boost onto a Dodge M37 with a 4bt. Hydro boost is mated to an 80s GM 1 ton master cylinder. I know the pushrod that goes between the 2 units needs to be 30 thou. shy.
Doing various reading, I see mention of Tallon Hydraulics offering the pushrods and a spring. I am having no luck getting in contact with them, either by phone or by email. Anyone in know if they are still around?
Or, has anyone here got the dimension of the pushrod?
I am also curious about the spring that was mentioned in conjunction with the pushrod.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim

I saw that, when I call, the call won't connect, no ringing, clicking or messages from the phone company saying it is disconnected. Just dead air.
Also tried to email with similar results.
Thanks for taking the time to look the site up though.

Well, did a little research. Tallon Hydraulics was acquired by Vintage Speed Reaper, Inc. Mar 27, 2018. Vintage Speed Reaper, Inc. incorporated Mar 8, 2016 and company was dissolved July 15, 2021. I'd say that doesn't look too promising. I had done business with Tallon and they were good people to work with but looks like they have disappeared into never never land.

In searching through the archives, I saw a thread from several years back someone else searching for this elusive part! It was suggested they call a company named Vanco, and included a phone number. I tried the number yesterday and it rang through to something else, the woman answered by saying "Medical emergency hotline" I mentioned I had a wrong number and she tried telling me about their daily specials. Not sure what their deal was but pushrods were not offered! It was an 800 number, which I know a lot of companies have dropped so Vanco may still be around under another number. I tried googling it and got several hits of companies with that name but nothing that seemed remotely possible. The quest continues!

When I instralled a GM hydroboost unit on my 1970 GMC 3500 Diesel conversion , the pushrod needed lengthening, so I welded a 7/16" SAE fine thread bolt to my existing part, so i maintained an adjustment for free play.

Are you referring to the pedal pushrod? I'm all set there, it's the internal pushrod between the hydro boost and the master cylinder.

What I ended up doing was buying a new Hydroboost that expected me to reuse those same parts that I didn't have. So then a bought a used one and took the parts that I needed that way. If all else fails, you might try that route.

Been there, done that. When I was working on a hydroboost system I discovered that the rebuilt units or even new ones don't come with that little push rod. Tallon was still in business at that time and they helped me. The part shows on some car manufacturers list but no one has a clue as to how to get one. I found a used unit in a salvage yard and had a couple copies made of that darn little rod. Mine was a Ford Superduty unit but others are probably different.
