It looks like it might be. If it is the matching automatic, then it is a a JR404E.

There is no computer required for the 4BD2T engine but the JR403E transmission requires one.

Not a 4BD series. But this 4HE1 and gearbox/transferbox will be an excellent project for someone.

After some discussion on IH8MUD, the conclusion is the picture in that auction doesn't match the engine for sale. Take care if bidding on that guys auctions.

Appears to have a wastegated garrett turbo. Definitely not the wastegated IHI turbo and definitely not the non-wastegated garrett that is used in the last models.
