Howdy, I would like to kick my swap in high gear (no pun intended), but am unsure of what the transmission mount should look like on an NV4500. Does the actual mount bolt directly to the two threaded holes in the rear of the transmission, or is there some sort of plate that goes between it and the trans?

Thanks,
John

Look at the picture. At the rear bottom of the NV-4500 you will see two round tranny mounts. Look hard, its not a good picture LOL

These mounts are 2.500" in diameter and 1.500" thick. Each side has a steel plate moulded in. From the steel plate on each side is a 7/16" x 14 stud. The NV-4500 rear is tapped 7/16" x 14 for mounts.
These mounts will screw right in. You then have the stud on the bottom side to fasten to your cross member. I use this system in all my trucks with NV-4500's. The NAPA Number is 602-1258. As I remember they are less than 15 bucks for the pair, the NV-4500 takes 2.
