I have been working on a 4bt in a 78 Scout Traveler. I put in an NV4500, an NP205 transfer case out of an early Dodge Cummins. It ran for a short while last night, and now I have a few kinks to work out to finish. First the speedometer is not hooked up. It seems like I pulled the speed sensor out of the Dana 20 T case that was in the Scout to start. I have been starring at the NP205 and noticed that there is a piece that has what appear to be electrical connections. What is this part? Is there a place I can hook up to to get my 4x4 light on the dash to come on when I have it in 4wd? Is this where I need to hook up my speed sensor, or is ther another place? I sure appreciate the help, and will probably have more questions before I'm done.

Where is this sensor /switch located?
If it is on the rear (tail) housing, it is probably a VSS sensor.
If it is on top in between the shift rails, it is the 4X4 indicator switch.
