Whenever I see pictures of our warriors the thing that sticks in my mind is that the Names, faces, dates and places may change...............But there is one thing that is constant those that protect US and serve IN OUR NAME are always so YOUNG and so FAR FROM HOME.

We are ONLY here because of their SELFLESS sacrifice and service.........WE MUST NEVER FORGET THIS.

In this picture of my father and his buddy's taken in 1943 either just before or after the assault on Tarawa which was their first action they are literally on the opposite side of the world from EVERYTHING they have ever known, and not one of them is old enough to buy a beer. A bunch of "kids" that grew up in rural depression America some LIED about their age to enlist and by right should STILL be in high school, YET THERE THEY ARE what more can I say........................
