i've been trying to find one here in utah but having some trouble. so i was just looking for some models of vehicles that the engine came in, thanks...
To my knowledge, there wasn't an on-highway vehicle (pickup, anything) that came with the 4BT as original equipment.

The bread trucks / step vans / P30s that have it now were all repowers with the 4BT, right? (Though I think some later models had the ISB variant from the get-go..)

Oh, and Use the Search, Luke!

yes, also some econoline vans had the 4bts back in the 80's
^HUH?

One other member here got one in from forklift. Since forklifts are run with a gas pedal and not a steady RPM, we have speculated that the forklifts use "speed" governor IPs, instead of "load" governors used in steady RPM applications.

You will still need to go looking for a trans adapter, though.

Your other option is have one shipped in from out of state.
