So the injection pump doesn't hit the floor board.

I thought it was to get the turbo outlet lower

I have only seen that on 4BT's that had a chevy tranny behind it. My 94' ford is not tilted. Hope this helps:beer:

Just to add fuel to this discussion, my 91 Dodge with a 6bt has a 3* tilt too.
3* is not really easy to see with the naked eye, though. It could be.

each of the breadvans is a different manufacturer/chassis. It is tilted so it can fit in the chevy application in place of the chevy 350 gasser that was in there previously. If they had designed the truck so it could fit a 4BT it would not be tilted. There is slightly more room in the Ford and Dodge application bread trucks. When you look at the chevy, you can see how the pump and turbo would hit the truck hump if the engine were upright...
