Question, Will a front gear cover from a 6BT fit on a 4BT? Other questions to think about what else will interchange?

yes it will. a 4b shares pistons, rods, pushrods, valves, springs, lifters, valve covers, etc... with a 6b

the front cover fits as long as it's from an engine with the same style injection pump...the front covers for p7100 versus VE pumps are different,as well as the front gear case...
