I guess you could get to a point where the injectors are maxed out for a certain boost level with high EGT and by putting bigger injectors in the additional fuel helps quench the burn and lower the EGT for the same boost level but then you've got lots of smoke. I think that's what the pullers do, they look like a coal fired steam locomotive pulling a grade. Fuel economy is not one of their priorities.interesting, I have noticed that everywhere I look for aftermarket injectors they claim a reduction in egts. Dirty crooks.
