How can I tell what size of piston bowl my 4BT with a VE pump has?

I have a Cummins 4BT with a VE pump.
I'm having a fueling issue.
I ordered new Cummins injectors using my engine # being a Chinese Cummins they use the engine # for reference.
I think they shipped the wrong injectors because no matter what I do to the pump I can't get any black smoke and very low turbo psi.
Here is what the Chinese supplier sent me
The engine#69393982 comes with piston#3926631 which is bore of 102 mm (or 5.4 inches) and a total height of 105.51 mm (or 5.24 inches), it’s the same with 94-98 Dodge 5.9L.

I want to order a correct set of injectors but I need to find out the size of the piston bowl.
The Chinese CPL is 750 FYI
Thanks

OK. I'll see if I can help a little. Your engine is not on the regular Cummins site so I can't look at it. If your pistons are the same as 94-98 Dodge, then they are made for injectors with 145 deg spray angle. In the USA, all VE pump engines had pistons with 155 deg spray angle. Must remember we are talking about engines built in the late 1980's thru 1990's. I suspect your pistons have the smaller bowls which means the injectors should have tips with the 145 deg spray angle. Do you have the part number of the injectors that were sent? If your received injectors matched to your engine number then they should be correct. Is this engine in a vehicle or on a test stand? If not under load it will not produce much boost and the injection pump won't send more fuel. The injection pump regulates fuel based on need.

We are talking about 4 cylinder older engines. The 91.5-93 Dodge 6bt had pistons with 145 deg bowls. But the regular 4 cylinders used in the USA were 155 deg as far as I know. Again, we are talking about VE pump engines. Now what the Chinese may have done is out of our knowledge. They've produced all kinds of 4bt's, some of which have wandered into the USA. Those either have no serial number or a number we can't access. They aren't suppose to be here but that don't mean much these days.

This is a same issue you have in other posts, would make it easier to track if they were all in the same post.

Lets go back to the start. When did the problem start in the first place? After working on the fuel system or from when the conversion was carried out?.
If the fuel lines in and out of the injection pump have been off it may pay to remove the banjo bolts and make sure they have been fitted in the correct position. The fuel inlet bolt is full open and the return bolt has a screen and restrictor orifice.

Don’t know if this helps but when I overhauled the 4bt it had small bowl (145*) 9043 pistons. It had an non VE industrial pump on it and was in a skid loader.

The ve ip's like 7psi at idle and no more than 15psi max, I have a hvlp 30mm piston lp, the spring I have is supposed to supply 9-11 psi, a fp gauge is your friend when trying to dial in these motors...
